The artists is basically self-taught with a year at Sir John Cass art school (foundation year in 1984). His preferred theme in the past has been architecture with a sense of place; working in various media including watercolour, acrylic and collage. In latter years has incorporated everyday objects into a more 3-D art resulting in fun and fantasy; recycling them to create something magical...when elements of the discarded detritus of the throw-away culture can be given life.
